Pressure on the living, relief by the dead

The ruler of everything we are now living in is, image.

Society’s image, self-image, the quality of Instagram’s image, defined perfect standards to reach a goal image, and even a corporate’s image can change its financials, operations, and even its status and reputation.

What is funny about this is that image is on the constant change, and it can be affected on daily basis and changed by random events. Let’s talk about fashion for instance, what you thought to be trendy in the past is now what you can never lay your eyes on, and what has dominated its era of popularity back in the 90's, is coming back to hit us faster than a meteor.  There is no definition you can live up to that can define you or standards of life, all you can do is try to either flow with the dynamics of the current living or resist to be part of the flow. At the end of the day, none of this really matters.

The trigger to gossip and excrete certain amounts of energy towards a subject which has no relation to us, nor do we have any ability to have an effect on gives us the instant pleasure of power, the high of having an opinion on a certain object/subject and produce judgment in order to undermine and classify it as below in value and of less integrity, gives us the power and feeling of control.

Image is a blur of milliseconds of history of which nothing really matters, your opinion does not matter, and its truth is only tied to its existence at that moment.

The idea of reaching perfection is impossible and living on values and patterns in the past which do not accommodate to our current lives are matters of debate and serious thought. There is plenty of pressure on the living to accommodate to each person’s idea of integrity and set of values, whereas the dead are valued upon their past actions of kindness.

If maybe it was possible to eliminate the disturbed defined lens we perceive everything around us in and set no boundaries to image and more on the heaviness of our words and actions, then perhaps each to live on its own, happily enjoying a walk down the street, feeling the ultimate safety in belonging and not being attacked to defined personal inherited ideologies which transmit extremism and entitlement.
