Cross-legged in an unorthodox race

In hopes of coming out of this crisis with one foot standing still next to the other, the business world has us cross-legged until dawn chasing work like there is no tomorrow.

Tasks are endless, and the marathon we are running has no clear ending point, we find ourselves in an unorthodox race wearing work cardigans from above and worn-out pineapple pj's from below, there are water stations but we have no time to jump in to one and hydrate, we are running with everyone around us with no clear instructions to whether what’s coming up is a hill or a hole.

It is truly uneasy the pressure put to the human body currently, psychologically we are not accustomed to this amount of change and fast-paced pressure that our brain is sometimes choosing to ignore the truths as an escape, and this massive amount of information absorbed within has us overwhelmed by the end of the day, it’s a physical toll as our ancestors originally were hunters and gatherers jumping up trees to survive rather than staying put and just clicking on “airplane mode” to avoid stressors and danger.

A good amount of energy is unleashed and a greater amount of emotions is eating us towards the uncertain, the conspiracy theories and the unclear agendas, the terrible amount of suffering around us and the fictional deadlines running after us to head faster into the unknown.
