Your body is a canvas.

Certain people leave different prints on us, and I would like to believe that each person leaves a stain on your body, that you would recall every time you touch a scar on your thigh, or get an erotic feeling down your spine, or maybe get some butterflies down your stomach. We get painted throughout our lives with the colors of people, melting on our mental and physical canvas, which makes you wonder if you have truly created yourself or you are a painted picture of all the people you have ever met in your life.

All these splashes of people stain on you, whether they are black and full of rage; which leave you scarred every time you touch them, or colorful ones that get you into La la land at the sound of each splash. That is the beauty of the human body, you show people your colors, scars, freckles and wrinkles from the outside and it makes you identifiable and beautiful in a certain way, but your true colors are actually deep under your skin, your losses, your true scars and grieves, your unique canvas and your true shining beauty, which makes only few lucky ones reach through and paint over the black holes.

It is said;
“To lose someone you love is to alter your life forever. You don’t get over it because ‘it’ is the person you loved. The pain stops, there are new people, but the gap never closes. How could it?
This hole in my heart is in the shape of you and no-one else can fit it. Why would I want them to?”

 Once in a blue moon, in between all of these random fingerprints around your body, one will be able to reach to your heart, and dig a hole of their human figure. You will find a bit of them in every human being and try to complete the puzzle, but there is always that missing piece, that incomplete feeling which leaves your heart empty and hollow forever, you will try looking for them in the crowds in each outing, hoping you will find that familiar face, hug them so hard that your broken pieces would stick back together, and maybe, just maybe you will finally have your heart beat normally again.
